Coffee Museum ALCHYMISTA

The exhibition introduces visitors to the history, cultivation and processing of coffee as well as the production of ersatz coffee. Items on display are antique roasters, grinders, storage bins – coffee measures and appliances for coffee preparation. Along with these artifacts there is a unique collection of more than 250 containers of coffee and coffee substitutes spanning the years 1850-1950. There is also a large collection of advertizing and packaging materials primarily from coffee substitutes from the First Czechoslovak Republic. Guided group tours are available by appointment.
